Cancer 9 years Later

Sad day as I prepare an email to a friend that I met online nine years ago from Long Island, NY that was diagnosed the same time and kind of cancer as I was. She has spiraled downward in the past two months with it spreading to her spinal cord and brain. I never know what to say to give someone hope. Writing has never been my strength.
